India mutual fund investors seem to have a cue. They turned to midcaps and smallcaps in May after the sharp correction in this segment over the past one year. About half of the inflows to equity funds came into midcap and smallcap schemes during the month as average AUM of the industry surged by Rs 16,000 crore to touch Rs 25.43 lakh crore.
