Thursday's strong breakout signalled something. Nifty showed promise initially, as it rallied and then took a pause to oscillate back and forth in a 40-points range before consolidating in a capped range. It looked like an indecisive reaction to RBI's credit policy. It is unlikely Nifty would move beyond the consolidation range on Friday. But the breakout surely has some steam left in it and F&O data shows some underlying buoyancy.
