Is Nifty headed for 12,000-12,200 levels? The derivative market appears to be suggesting that. The Calls at strike prices 12,200 and 12,500 saw the highest addition of open interests on Monday, as the exit polls predicted a repeat victory for the BJP-led NDA. When traders buy call options, they are betting on the index or stock to go up. It is a no brainer that the market will be discounting the poll outcome by the time the actual results are out.
